One of the most visited cities in Cyprus Limassol boasts plenty of sights and interesting places worth visiting. So, one of these parts is the City Park and situated on its territory zoo.

Over the past few years, the zoo, which was founded in 1960, has undergone significant changes - for its reconstruction and modernization has been allocated a sick amount of money, so he was equipped in accordance with all existing standards. And though the zoo and has a relatively small size, however, there dwells a sufficiently large number of animals and birds (about 90 species), all of whom have provided good conditions that are as close to the natural conditions of their habitat. With regard to the City Park, it is primarily known for the fact that every year in September there is a festival of wine, which attracts a huge number of people. This ten-day festival is arranged for the money local winemakers, and the first time it held in 1961. A wonderful taste of wine, the secrets of which are passed from generation to generation, complemented by the bright colors of the national festival - guests have the opportunity to hear traditional Cypriot songs and sounds of traditional instruments, such as, for example, Buzuk. In addition to tasting different wines, everyone can personally take part in the manufacturing process of the "drink of the gods."
