Town Hall Tower, 70 meters high, stands alone in the north-eastern part of the area - that is all that remains of the ancient town hall, dismantled in the early XIX century. At the beginning of XVII century the tower was struck by lightning, and from the ensuing fire she suffered and threatened to fall. To avoid this, it has been strengthened to the west side, but the deviation from the vertical is still 55 cm. At the same time Gothic spire was replaced with a Baroque helmet.
