The so-called house of Livingstone is located north of the road Stountauna Bububu. Built in 1860, the house served as a refuge for many European missionaries and explorers. Livingston stayed here before heading to his last expedition. Later the building became the property of the Hindu society. In 1947 the government bought and renovated the house to arrange it in a laboratory for scientific research. Now based in the building of the office of Zanzibar Tourist Corporation.   I can complement the description
