Swan Lake is located in the national park "Hutsul", 5 kilometers north-west of the village of Sheshory, Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region and refers to Sheshorskomu environmental research department. The diverse nature reserve is reflected in the local landscape: here you can see the plains, forests, meadows, mountains, swamps and lake, which is the most famous treasure of the entire fleet.

The lake has an oval-rounded shape and large size (about 100 by 200 meters), is located at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. The depth of the Swan Lake is 28 meters. The inhabitants of this region for centuries believed that the lake has no bottom and that it inhabited by mystical creatures. Legends of the lake, there are many. Naturally, all the mystical-dramatic. One of them says that in the wonderful waters of Lake Swan forever united in love girl and boy whose parents were categorically opposed to their marriage.

From the shores of Swan surrounded by ancient beech forest that surrounded on all sides by the water surface, you can understand why it involves so many folk tales. Here special atmosphere, this place seemed shrouded in a haze of romance, mystery.
