Nicholas Gate Church of the Intercession Klobukova monastery was built in the early 18th century (probably at the end of 17). It is a unique architectural monument to Kashin. Gate Church of the Intercession is located on the north side of the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The main distinguishing feature of the Church - the three arches that cut through the lower tier. At the top is the small size of the temple, having adjacent to the south and west side of the L-shaped porch-arcade and a rectangular altar. The high walls of the quadrangular plane enclosed three kokoshnik semicircular shape, the northern edge of its facade is decorated with an octagonal window on the axis and paired semi-columns. This element is taken from the style of "Naryshkin" baroque, typical of the late 17th century. On the podium with promising innovative features is carrying the head and decorated arkaturno-columnar zone drum.

The dynamics and originality of the temple gives the articulation of rectangular and round the corner volumes. This artistic technique similar to the towers flank the gate structures in the architectural structures of Yaroslavl and Rostov. But Kashin Protection church architects have gone from stable symmetry and a single tower made belfry. Arched openings decorated ringing in the form of a continuous roll Archivolt. This is separated from the bottom tier of a wide belt, which consists of a rod, a number shirinok with diamonds and ribbon curb. At the height of the gallery floor ringing is quadrangular; pattern with arches archivolt, strip panels and the curb, horizontal thrust moving from one part to another, emphasizing the unity of the entire composition.
