Abdulhasana Elshazi Mosque is located in the northern part of the city and is the main active mosques not only of the Hurghada, but also the adjacent settlements, so it is often referred to as "Central". The mosque was named after a local preacher Abdulhasana Elshazi who lived here 600 years ago and is famous for his virtue and learning.
