Located on the shores of West Lake near the northern city gate of the ancient capital of Thang Long, Quan Thanh Temple is one of the four ancient temples of the city. It was built in the XI century, but was reconstructed several times.
The temple was dedicated to the guardian of the north - Chan Su, whose statue, weighing 4 tons and a height of 4 meters, created in 1677, can be seen in the church today. In addition, it holds many manuscripts of poems of the XVII century.
