Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - one of the main attractions of Hanoi. On weekends, there are long queues of those wishing to visit the resting place of the leader of the Vietnamese people.

The massive building of gray stone, dominating the Ba Dinh Square, was built in 1973 on the site of a festive podium where the president greeted the festive demonstration. On the pediment of the mausoleum are inscribed the words "Tiu Tit Ho Chi Minh City", which means "President Ho Chi Minh." Inside the mausoleum in a glass sarcophagus, lies the body of Ho Chi Minh, dressed in a faded khaki suit and simple slippers.

In 1958, Ho Chi Minh built his house, refused the offer to live in a luxurious palace. This house was built on stilts, lacquered and polished wood and furnished very modestly. Now it is a museum. On the ground floor you can see the room where the meeting took place the Politburo, and the second - a bedroom and a personal account of Ho Chi Minh.
