Round in terms of building the church of St. Paul to the high square tower is a symbol of German democracy and unity of the nation. Paulskirche was built in 1789 and has witnessed first meeting of the German parliament in 1848-1849. Now there are held meetings and receptions, awarded the Goethe Prize.
