Henrik Fasola was one of the first representatives of industrial capital in Hungary. Together with his brother Lenard, he learned the craft of metalwork in Würzburg. After many wanderings, they finally settled in 1758 in Hungary. By this time Henrik was only 28 years old, but his magnificent works of wrought iron attracted the attention of Archbishop Franz Barkoshi in Eger. Archbishop Henryk offered to settle in Eger and swamped with orders. Henrik started with a big gate of the palace of the Archbishop, then its main gate of the park, lattice wrought-iron balconies of the Lyceum, lattice doors of the observatory and its rotating dome.

Gates Fasola in Eger made between 1758 and 1761 years, they are an important part of his Hungarian period, and are considered the most beautiful and famous work of Henrik. The gates are located inside the lobby County Hall in Eger and performed in the style of Baroque and Rococo. On the arch of wrought iron over the main entrance located allegories of Faith, Hope and Love. The main ornament - acanthus leaves on one of the gates - the emblem of the city, on the other - a cluster of grapes.
