Erenhof museum complex, located in Dusseldorf, was established in 1926 under the proposed project by the architect Wilhelm Kreis. Located on the banks of the Rhine River, this complex serves more than one decade raising the cultural level of residents and tourists. Currently Erenhof combines several museums: there is the Palace of Arts and the Museum of Art, as well as a large concert hall and an exhibition entitled "The people and the economy."

The basis of all the exposures Erenhofa a collection assembled in the XVIII century rather rich family of Jan Vellema. Here you can see more than 100 thousand sculptures and paintings, objects of art and graphics.

Erenhof museum complex consists of four buildings, which are arranged in a horseshoe shape. On the roof of a building is a beautiful sculpture - "Aurora", its author made Arno Breker. In the central part there is a beautiful fountain, where the distinct pleasure, you can spend time in a sultry summer day. Various sculptures are located not only in the inner rooms of the museum complex, but also on the lawns of his court. Most impressive is the size sculpture of a rhinoceros.
