Span - two delightful waterfall in a dense rain forest, they are called - Penris. They are a 10-minute walk from the small town Balsom. The trail to the falls leads through dense thickets on steep slippery slope down into the valley. Around the steep rocks covered with moss and ferns, and the river turns into a waterfall. One of them has a height of 60 feet, the second up to 70. And that, and another waterfall has its own swimming pools. Their depth is 10 feet, they are deep enough for swimming. The water is cool and swimming in the clear water will give you a real pleasure.
The air in this place is also different freshness and purity, it is a wonderful place to relax. This part of the island is a small study and development, in contrast to other existing popular places here. That is why thousands of tourists flock here in the whole world to get involved in eco-tourism, to see the pristine beauty of nature and the magnificent scenery.
The path starts near the bar Span (Spanny's Bar). Since the trail to the waterfall is not its territory, the owner of the bar will charge an entrance fee - 2, 5 Eastern Caribbean dollar to local travelers and 5 Eastern Caribbean dollars to visiting guests.
