The Church of Agia Marina, located in Cordoba close to the Palace of Viana, refers to it called "ferdinandovskim churches" built after the liberation of the city by King Ferdinand III of Castile by Arab conquerors. The church is one of the most ancient in Cordoba - its construction refers to 1236. Church of Santa Marina was rebuilt from a Muslim mosque, which, in turn, was erected on the site of a Visigoth temple, dating back to the 7th century. The appearance of the church and the traces of the late-Gothic style, with overlapping architectural elements of Baroque and Mudejar.

His massive, severe facade church is more like a fortress than a religious temple. The main entrance is in the form of a pointed arch, above it there is a large window-rose. From the right of the facade is a beautiful bell tower, built in the 16th century under the direction of Hernan Luis Junior.

Inside the temple is divided into three naves, which are separated by rows of pointed arches. Special attention is given a great Orozco Chapel, founded in the 15th century and decorated in the style of Mudejar. At present, it is located church utensils. In the main chapel altar is of great beauty, by Antonio del Castillo. There is also a beautiful statue of Our Lady of authorship Cordoba sculptor Gomez de Sandoval.
