Ten kilometers south of the capital of Chuvashia is Kugesi village, where the workshop of folk crafts and a museum of national art embroidery "Wonderful embroidery - Paha tere".

A unique museum dedicated to the ancient folk art, opened in July 2009 at the workshop "Paha tere", dealing with art crafts in 1923. The main fund of the museum is a collection of costumes, hats, wedding curtains, coats, belts, napkins and other products, unique designs embroidered Chuvash craftswomen.
