Ethnographic Museum in Burgas is located in the former home of a prominent Bulgarian public figure Dimitar Todorov Brakalova. This building was built in 1873 and looks like it is still in the typical architectural style of the era.
The museum is located near the Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Methodius. The first floor of the building is typical of the interior of Burgas house of XIX century, a special place is reserved for the ladies' fashion of the period. Spacious foyer, it can usually be occupied by one of the temporary exhibitions.
On the second floor of the museum houses a collection of traditional costumes of each ethnic group Bourgas region.
