Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius - it is one of the most interesting sights of the city of Burgas. It is located in the heart of the city and is the largest temple of the Bourgas. The construction of it began in 1895, and in 1907 it opened its doors to the Orthodox congregation, and whose donations made possible the construction. On the creation of the project work of the famous Italian architect Ricardo Toscani.

The building area is 516 square meters (32 meters in length and 21 meters in width) to adjoin the two bell towers. The main entrance to the temple is decorated with mosaic, which depicts the Saints Cyril and Methodius - creators of the Slavic alphabet. The church is also remarkable ornate façade and stunning beauty of the dome. The interior of the church, too, may be interested visitor: it is decorated with malachite, marble and intricate murals created by artists who worked on the decoration of the church of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia. You can also see the carved wooden iconostasis wizard Marshlands Kosharevskogo (1930).

After a fire in 1953, the decoration of the church and many icons were damaged, but today the long restoration work has been completed and the temple for more than 15 years, is open to visitors.
