Stone chapel in honor of the Reigning Mother of God is located in the town square of Victory. It was built in 2001 in memory of the soldiers-internationalists who died in local wars. But the perception of local residents, this chapel is a reminder of all the heroes who gave their lives for their country.
The main initiators of the construction of the chapel became local governor EAO NM Volkov and chairman of the regional public organization of soldiers-internationalists ST Minko. The construction of the chapel was completed in a very short time. In August, the foundation was consecrated, and a month later at the temple established cross topped with a dome. The solemn consecration of the chapel in the park of the Victory was held in December 2001. The chapel was built on the money collected throughout the world.
Outside the chapel is decorated with mosaics of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow and St. George. In the chapel you can see a huge list Reigning Mother of God.
In December 2011, Bishop Joseph decided that the interior of the chapel has found completion. To do this, we have been invited to a professional art restorers from the city of Serpukhov, who coped with this work in the past month. The inner walls of the chapel are decorated with images of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky and St. George the Victorious. Trying to somehow emphasize the theme of the host, in color, it was decided to focus on shades of red.
