Arboretum Birobidzhan - environmental institution, whose main task is to create a dendrological collection, cultivation of special collections of plants for the preservation and enrichment of plant resources, the implementation of educational, scientific, educational and economic activities.

The park is located in the southern part of the Russian Far East, in the center of the Jewish Autonomous Region and in the south-west of the administrative center of the region - the city of Birobidzhan. Arboretum total area of ​​19 hectares was founded in 1995

The area of ​​the park is part of the Amur-Ussuri Far Eastern District coniferous-deciduous forest region, belonging to the area of ​​coniferous and deciduous forests. As for the forest area of ​​the park, it is represented by conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs. Every year for them hooked young seedlings of spruce, fir and cedar. All work on the landscaping of the park reserve staff carry out "Bastak" and representatives of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society and Rosprirodnadzor.

The arboretum is conducted quite a lot of excursions. For this excursion is established trail that runs along the top of the hill. During the tour, visitors can see the richness of woody plants, wild flora, not only the region, but also introduced, brought here from southern Primorye. From the height of a nice view ranges Bastak, Uldury, Shuah-Poktoy. At the boundaries of the park are small ponds inhabited by Far Eastern toad, Siberian salamander small animals and invertebrates.

In the protected area of ​​the park twice a year organized Saturday, during which cleaned the track co-opted exit site spring water and is equipped with special wells, protecting clean water from contamination.
