German History Museum is located in the building of the former Arsenal, which was built in the Baroque style in 1706. In the courtyard there are the famous "masks of dying warriors" - a masterpiece of baroque art sculptor A.Shlyutera.

Arsenal building was used in the Hohenzollern as the "Hall of Fame" of the Prussian state, and since 1952 it is the Museum of German history since the middle of the XVII century to the present day.
