The Botanical Garden of Barcelona is located between the Olympic Stadium and the Castle of Montjuic, in areas with steep slopes. The garden was created by a group of experts, which included architects Charles and Jose Luis Ferrater Canossa, landscape architect Bet Figueras, a biologist Joan Pedrola and horticulturist Artur Bossy. In the design of the garden is strictly taken into account topographic features of the area, which will use the space for planting the implementation of the minimum amount of earthwork.
