City Bar after the liberation from the Turks was nearly destroyed, as during the war were blown warehouses with a powder keg. This fact inflicted serious damage to the city. However, in the Old Bar there are many surviving monuments.

Overall, the evidence of Turkish rule can be seen in the architecture of each city in Montenegro. The exception is not, and one of the key cities - Bar. In 4 kilometers from the modern city is the mosque, which was built by the Turks in the second half of the XVII century.

Omerbashicha Mosque - Landmark Old Bar, was built by the Turks in 1662, during the occupation by the Ottoman Empire Montenegro. The construction of buildings in terms of architecture is simple and clear: a rectangular base with built minaret to the wall to the southwest.

Entering the complex, near the mosque you can see the tomb of dervish-Hassan. This tomb was built in the XVII century, and later was attached to it another small building with a height of one storey. It served as living quarters, as evidenced by the pipe column at the entrance to the structure. More later, when the mosque was built a house, which was intended to accommodate the pilgrims and imams. The whole complex is surrounded by stone walls, which he was surrounded with the Turks.
