Wat Ratchabophit or formally Ratchabophit Sha Tin District Wat Maha Ratcha Simara Vara Maha Wihan - is part of the historic center of the Thai capital. The temple complex is a viharn (central building) ubosot (room for special religious ceremonies) and a gilded chedi (stupa) in the center.

Gilded chedi reaches a height of 43 meters, it is designed in the style of Sri Lanka and is topped with a golden ball on it are also the figures of the Buddha in the style of the kingdom of Lopburi. The viharn are 10 doorways and window 28, all artfully decorated with mother of pearl and pearl. The exterior walls pyshut magnificent: stucco, tiles and painting. If you walk across the bridge over a canal in the northern part of the temple, you can see the gilded statue of a pig. History has it that the bridge was built at the initiative of one of the wives of King Rama V, a long time he did not have a name.
