The memorial complex "The First Revolutionary Committee of Chukotka" is located in the city of Anadyr on the high bank of Anadyr surprising. The complex was built in 1957 in honor of the Red Army and the Chukchi, who created the first revolutionary government of Chukotka. At the end of January 1920 there was a counter-revolutionary coup. The building was surrounded by a revolutionary committee, and fired. M. Mandrikov surrendered to somehow buy time revkomovtsev two were killed and one wounded. Soon, other members of the Revolutionary Committee were arrested. In early February of the same year they were planning to transfer to the prison on the opposite bank of the river Cossack women, but only members of the Revolutionary Committee set foot on the ice, shots rang out. Killed revkomovtsy left lying on the ice, and just a few days the locals were allowed to dump bodies. In February of Markovo returned Malsagov and Berzin, who were also killed.
