"Desert Park" - this eco-educational center, which spreads over an area of ​​1,300 hectares in Alice Springs. He is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums and a member of the International Society for Conservation Botanic Gardens.

On the territory of "Desert Park", you can see the typical inhabitants of the Central Australian desert representatives of both fauna and flora. It conducted a number of research programs to help maintain the population of wild animals and plants, as well as educational programs that introduce visitors to the unique nature of the "heart" of Australia. Much of the work of the park takes the direct participation of the indigenous inhabitants of these places - Aboriginal tribe arrernte, real owners of this land.
