In the beautiful Indian city of Agra has many cultural and architectural monuments. One of such important historical sites is the mausoleum Chini-ka-Rauza, built on the orders of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his first minister and poet Allama Afzal Khan Mullaha, who died in 1635.
Originally it built a complex of buildings that were surrounded by a high wall, which has two gates - the North and South. But, unfortunately, to this day the majority of the buildings are preserved only ruins, while the Mausoleum remained in fairly good condition. It has a square shape, located at the corners of the small turret, typical of the buildings of the Mughal era, and the roof is crowned by a large dome. Each of the four sides of the arch is decorated and has a height of about 24 meters. The central inner hall, where the tomb of Allama Afzal Khan Mullaha has an octagonal shape and has four entrances leading through which it connects to the four smaller halls.
In general, the style in which the tomb is made, quite restrained, its lines and shapes are simple and concise for the Indo-Persian architecture. But at the same time, all the walls and ceilings are covered with the beauty and elegance of patterns and ornaments, which are laid out brightly colored ceramic tiles, which was specially brought from China. For every detail of construction was used by a specific color, so to create labels on the central arch was chosen tiles of blue, and for its frame - blue, yellow and green. While for finishing the remaining arches used blue and orange tiles. On some walls pattern it is very well preserved, and you can clearly see how the mausoleum looked like originally.
