Aarhus, the cultural capital of Jutland, famous for its beautiful historical sites. In the central part of the city there are many unique museums, one of them - Women's Museum.

The building, which now houses a museum, was built in 1857. From 1941 to 1984 the building was only the police and the fall of 1984 in the room was an exposition on the theme of women. Female annually visit the museum more than 42,000 visitors from all over the world. In 1991, thanks to the local municipality and the museum was renovated in the same year the museum was granted national status.
