One of the most beautiful cities in Denmark is Aarhus. The city's history begins nearly a thousand years ago. Despite the fact that the Aarhus - an industrial town, it has many wonderful vacation spots, one of which is a botanical garden.

The Botanical Garden was founded in 1875, it is located near the old town. The area occupied by the park is 21 hectares. Each year, the botanical garden attracts their five greenhouses about 70,000 visitors, both local residents and visitors alike.

In the tropical greenhouses, where supported by 80-100% humidity, grow vines, ginger (various types), pumpkins, cardamom, vanilla, chilli pepper, sago palms and many other plants. Aarhus Botanical Garden takes an active part in international exchange programs and plant seeds with other botanical gardens. There is also hold special guided tours, where you can admire a beautiful collection of tropical orchids.
