Aalborg Historical Museum - a museum of historical and cultural heritage of the city of Aalborg in Denmark. The museum was founded in 1863.

Historical Museum was created to tell the story of the city and the surrounding land, to talk about events that occurred during the last millennium. Founded in 1863, this museum has become one of the youngest provincial museums in Denmark. Its present appearance Museum bought more in 1878. At the beginning of 1890 it was expanded to accommodate a growing collection of exhibits illustrating the history of the first inhabitants of these areas to the present day.

The museum has an extensive collection of clothing and other items made of fabric, dating from the 18th century, and later presented and exhibits until today. In 1950 the Historical Museum of Aalborg conducted a series of archaeological excavations in 1994 and 1995, excavations were repeated, giving the opportunity to receive new collections.

In 2004, several organizations came together to form the North Jutland Historical Museum. The museum is managed by 12 members of the Committee, which, in turn, is made up of members of organizations founded the museum. Parent organization formed this alliance, operates research, educational programs, social-oriented programs, including charities. Aalborg Historical Museum organizes various exhibitions, showing his extensive collection. Particularly interesting are considered collections of glass and silver.
