Chocholow - a village in Poland, bred in the province of Malopolska B17 kilometers east of the Polish town of Zakopane, near the border with Slovakia. The population of the village of 1135 inhabitants.
Chocholow The village is best known for its uniqueness - it is almost entirely built of the original upland huts. Most of the houses were built in the 19th century. The whole village is based around a single main street, wooden houses mirror each other on both sides of the road. The village became famous in the history of the uprising against the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1846.
