The church in honor of the Blessed Prince Igor of Chernigov, located in Vladivostok, on the street Str. Fountain is one of the attractions of this beautiful city. The temple is dedicated to the memory of soldiers ATC Primorsky Territory, who died during the performance of their duty.

The brick church was built in the shortest possible time - in June 2006. The consecration of the capsule, and laying the foundation stone of the Church of the Holy Prince Igor of Chernigov-martyr was made by Archbishop Benjamin concelebrated by the clergy of the diocese. Construction of the temple was completed in March 2007. It was then that the solemn consecration of the church.

The architectural design of the temple in Vladivostok Igor of Chernigov was designed by renowned architect Valery Moore. The total height of the two-story church is about 21 meters. Each floor has an area of ​​78 sq.m. The ground floor was consecrated in the name of the patron saint of soldiers - the holy martyr Demetrius. Here is located the baptistery (baptistery). As for the upper tier, it was consecrated in the name of the Holy Prince-martyr Igor of Chernigov, whose name and wears the temple. The upper floor is the main liturgical room.

At the ceremony of consecration of the church leadership ATC Primorsky Krai has donated an icon of the temple of the Holy Prince Igor of Chernigov. This icon, the size of 50 by 40 centimeters, performed a famous local painter Sergei Schekalov. The icon shows Prince Igor of Chernigov with the cross, holding a sword. The icon has become a Throne for the church.
