A collection of the Archaeological Museum is housed in a monastery of Provence. Once it was the place of residence of the Knights of recruits from Provence. The building was built in 1574 by Girolamo Cassar project. Pediment magnificent facade of the building is decorated with Doric monastery and Ionic columns.
The most interesting exhibits are the statues of the Archaeological Museum of the Neolithic - Venus Maltese and "Sleeping Woman". You can also see the ancient flint tools, human skulls, necklaces, figurines, vases and pots, urns and so on. In 2000 he opened halls with expositions dedicated to the Bronze Age, Punic, ancient, Arab and medieval period.
