Tver City Museum and Exhibition Centre is located on the street Soviet. It was organized in May 2007, the first exhibition was opened in June. In March 2009, the center became a municipal cultural institutions and continued its activities in the three exhibition halls, where every month arranged exhibitions of various scale: from the city to the international.

The exhibition center is the largest in Tver exhibition venue with the necessary for the organization of exhibitions of unique instruments and equipment. State Center has about 40 employees. Comfortable rooms and lobbies of the exhibition center equipped with the latest lighting and suspension paintings, equipment for monitoring climatic conditions, showcases and special exhibition equipment. Exposition and exhibition area of ​​the center is 608, 3 sq. m.

The center hosts art and special exhibitions, conducted training and creative work with the younger generation, novice photographers, artists, masters of arts and crafts. In the center there are opportunities for local history, education, art work, creative meetings with famous countrymen, musical and literary evenings, playing clubs.

Tver Museum and Exhibition Centre for the short time of its existence, managed to catch the fancy of the residents of the city, its well-visited as a young tverichi and representatives of the older generation, both students and professionals took place, lovers of fine art and professional artists. In the year of the center is visited by over 20 thousand people.

The largest project is the center of a photo exhibition dedicated to the reflection in the old photos of Sofia under the title "The Soul of Sofia." It was organized by the Embassy of Bulgaria in Russia in 2009, as well as the "International Biennial" (exhibition of graphics), held in Varna in 2009.
