The main house is a large wooden house with a stone ground floor. It is the only manufacturer of the three houses, which survives today. The rest were in Protasovo in Yalta. House in Dubna, in contrast, looks more monumental and representative.

Peter Ivanovich Mosolov was born in 1803 his father - Ivan Philipovich - was the dynasty of the owners of factories Mosolov. In 1828, Pyotr constructed in the Tula province, in Dubna, on the shore of the pond in front of his ironworks three-storey house made of wood and bricks. On the facade of the building has been beautifully decorated. The house has been supplemented with a veranda and cast iron elements: intricate brackets, columns with bunches of grapes, the main staircase, decorated with images vine leaves and flowers. All these elements were cast on Dubnensky plant. Through the ground floor runs straight corridor that went to the west side - the park also had access to the south side, where an outdoor summer terrace with stairs in by the house garden, where has a large bed with a vase in the center, the descent to the pond for swimming, playing area.

The building of the house, it was decided in the typical architecture of the first half of the 19th century. forms. The central axis of its symmetrical facade emphasizes the high attic, which ended with a triangular pediment. Also typical of the times and the wooden parts of the structure, which is in the form of stone architecture. Average for the consolidation of large buildings such quadras angles simulated planks of wood nailed to the corners of the walls. The decoration of the building - is quite modest.

Mezzanine composition combined with the first floor of a 4 Corinthian pilasters, it increases the height of the house. Most likely, many decorative details of the building has not survived to our time. There are, for example, to indicate the presence of three central windows of the first floor balconies.
