Chechen State Drama Theater Khanpashi Nuradilova - is not only one of the attractions of Grozny, but also the cultural heritage of the Chechen people.

Year of the creation of theater began in 1931 when the theater studio was formed. Two years later, the studio has been put on the graduation performance play "Red Fortress" S.Badueva, dedicated to the events of the civil war in Chechnya-Ingushetia. Later, the studio was transformed into the Chechen State Drama Theater, the first director of which was Chechen G.Batukaev. In 1938, at GITIS opening of the first Chechen-Ingush studio.

1958 was the year of the birth of the second Chechen State Drama Theater named Nuradilov. In 1960-1980 gg. In 1977, for the play "Vainakh Songs" Drama Theater was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR. Performances of the Chechen State Drama Theatre honored with the highest ratings in the dramatic festivals of the peoples of the USSR, as well as Hungary and Bulgaria.

Particular attention is paid to the problems of the theater aesthetic and spiritual education of the younger generation. Leading artists give performances in schools of the republic, "Life Without Mines", carried out with the children classes.
