Grof Palace is bred on the corner of the boulevard and street Lajos Tisza Takarektara. His name was the palace in honor of Dr. Arpad Grof, the Attorney General of the city and head of the cabinet, who ordered the construction of this building. Being an ambitious person and occupying such high positions, he has chosen for the construction of the central area of the city, and formulated the problem in the following words: "This building is designed for modern living specialists and officials with a certain level of career and social status, who can afford high rents" . The author of the project was Ferenc Rachel, under whose construction lasted only 13 months - from 1912 to 1913.
The three-story building, bite three streets, attracts attention with its elegance. When creating this masterpiece, the architect has combined the latest innovative trends in architecture with the traditional Hungarian and Oriental decorative styles.
The building is decorated on both sides of the towers, supported by thin pillars and ending with beautiful spiers. The facade is very interesting non-standard alternating speakers and long semi-circular balconies. Transformation in different planes are supported by a variety of side railings of balconies on the facade. They are a little easier to execute than a balcony from the front of the building.
Ornament gold and blue mosaic conveys the aura of the east, especially decorative items and peacock motifs used on the second floor balcony.
