Red Town Hall - Neo-Gothic building, built in the nineteenth century, located in the Polish city of Szczecin.
The building, formerly bore the name of New Town Hall, was designed by Berlin architect Konrad Krupa in 1875-1879 years as a municipal building. Gothic building was rectangular two tabs at the corners as well as a high terrace on the east side, which emphasized the representative functions of the building. On the west side of the facade is decorated with carved figures of the Town Hall, located in the niches. The allegorical statues symbolize the four sources of prosperity Szczecin: "Industry", "Agriculture", "Water" and "Science". All 120 cm tall sculpture was made in 1869 by Emil Steiner. During the Second World War was destroyed statue of Science, which was reconstructed only in 1998 Eva Mucho. The facade is decorated with, in particular, balconies and turrets, as well as the emblem of the city.
The interior of the hall is of particular interest with openwork staircase balusters, as well as another emblem of Szczecin in 1660, which was moved here from the old town hall.
Red Town Hall hardly suffered during the war of 1941-1945, but was destroyed by fire by the Germans in the final stages of World War II. Restoration work was carried out in the sixties of the twentieth century.
Currently, the town hall are located several nautical institutions, including the Polish Chamber of the Council of foreign maritime trade, Marine Design Bureau, Institute of Meteorology and Water Management.
