The first mention of the castle Riggersburg found in manuscripts of the XII century. The castle was built on an impregnable rock in the 40 to from Graz. Its present form the castle gained in the XVII century and is now in private hands of the princes of Liechtenstein.

It is the largest castle Styria: the length of the fortress walls is 3 km, 11 bastions and seven gates. Note the luxurious decoration of the White Knights' and halls. In the basement of the castle houses the Museum of witches.
