Church of St. Mary Magdalene, located in Seville, is one of the most outstanding examples of Spanish Baroque architecture of the 18th century. The church was constructed between the years 1691 and 1709 by the famous architect in Seville at the time of Leonardo de Figueroa. The church with a beautiful bell tower on the western facade and the walls decorated with ornaments and decorative motifs of blue, red and white colors, is extraordinarily beautiful. The facade is decorated with three portals. One of them is decorated with a sculpture of St. Dominic authorship of Pedro Roldan and the other is in the form of an arch, crowned by a sculpture, and is surrounded by pilasters. It adorns the facade of the magnificent bell tower was built in 1697 and renovated in the 20th century.

The temple has three longitudinal nave, transept, five chapels and presbytery. One of the chapels located on the south-western part of the temple is the only element of the building preserved from the previous located here before the temple construction. The central nave is crowned with an octagonal dome. The interior of the church are decorated with stucco and Baroque décor.

The main altar of the church in the style of early baroque 18th century and is decorated with the image of St. Mary Magdalene, created in 1704 Felipe Malo de Molina, as well as images of St. Francis and St. Dominic authorship of Pedro Duque Cornejo and St. Paul, created Francisco de Ocampo.

Also inside the church you can admire the murals by Lucas Valdes, and two beautiful paintings by Francisco de Zurbaran.
