On the island of Poros in the same city there is a small but interesting Archaeological Museum. The museum building is located in the center of the square Korizi.

Officially, the collection of antiquities of Poros was registered in 1959. In 1962, the exhibition is temporarily housed in the old mansion, which was presented to the heirs Korizisa Alexandros Greek state specifically for the museum. Later, the old building was demolished, and in 1966-1968 years on this earth was built new museum. Its doors to visitors Archaeological Museum of Poros opened only 10 years later in 1978. The exposition is presented in two exhibition halls.

The artifacts presented in the museum, covering the period of time is quite impressive, since the Mycenaean era to Roman times. Here are collected the artifacts found during archaeological excavations on the island of Poros (in ancient times called Kalavryta), including the Temple of Poseidon, the ancient Tresa Mephala, Ermioni (Hermione), as well as artifacts from shipwrecks in the Saronic Gulf.

The museum's collection includes pottery, funerary stele, sculptures, statues, ancient inscriptions, various architectural details, bronze ware and more. Among the most important exhibits is to provide geometric amphora found in Trézény, bronze vessels of the Sanctuary of Poseidon, Mycenaean clay figurine of the Church of St. Constantine Mefane (1300-1200 BC), as well as part of the Ionic columns of the Temple of Poseidon and the statue Poseidon. Also of interest are the clay composition in the form of a lion's head from the sanctuary of Aphrodite in Trézény and name a pedestal with a bronze statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius (175-180 years BC).
