Inkerman Winery was founded February 1, 1961. The plant was built on the basis of the workings of building limestone closed method. Stone produced in these quarries was used for the detuning destroyed during the Second World War the building of Sevastopol. Once we stopped the production of limestone, underground galleries up to 12 meters and a width of 10-12 m, located at a depth of 5 to 30 m above the ground, passed into the ownership of the plant. The galleries have established special barrels for aging and laid the first brand of wine "Cabernet Kachin", "Aliquot Gold beam", "White Port Crimea", "Crimean red port wine" and others. The first plant was the brand name wine "Rkatsiteli Inkerman."

Specialists who work on Inkerman's factory, passed practice at the wine factory "Massandra" and maintain ancient traditions of wine making by aging in oak barrels for six months to five years.

The specialists of the plant continuously conducts research on improving the technology of wine, study raw materials, creating new brand of wine. In 1990, Inkerman was recognized as one of the best wineries in the world. In the history of the plant's products won sixteen Grand Prix Cups, one hundred thirty five gold, about sixty silver and twelve bronze medals at international competitions and exhibitions.
