Chapel of St. George is located near the city, on a hill Terets. The structure dominates the surroundings and looks quite modest - a one-storey building with a bell tower adjoined to it.
With located right under the hill of the road chapel may not be noticed, especially during the summer, when the trees that surrounded the chapel, covered by dense vegetation.
Inside the church is preserved gilded altar, installed here in 1688. The altar is quite interesting and valuable object of religious art. There is also preserved ancient image of St. George painted on canvas.
Its present appearance church received immediately. The bell tower and the sacristy equipped sanctuary appeared here in the XVIII century after a serious renovation. It was not the only large-scale reconstruction of the chapel. Unfortunately, during the Second World War the chapel was badly damaged. It destroyed the building and interior decorations of the church. Complete renovation and reconstruction dragged on and was completed only in 1967.
The chapel is open to parishioners who love her privacy and a reminder of the history of the city and parish. On Sundays, it is carried out the traditional Mass.
