Church of San Antonio del Prat del Campanario - is an ancient temple located near the village of Arinsal, the road to the famous mountain resort of the same name. Actually, from the Romanesque church built in this place in the XII century, little has been preserved. Avalanche swept this slope in XIII - XVII century., Almost razed it to the ground.

Already in the twentieth century., Namely in 1969, this place began to carry out archaeological excavations that proved to be quite fruitful. Run out excavations in 1973. In 1975, the church of San Antonio was recovered from the detected residues of Romanesque wall, two side walls with doors, angles and greater part of the apse. Reconstruction supervised the architect Pierre Kanturri.

The church has a rectangular nave with a cone-shaped roof, which is rarely to be found in the valleys of the Principality of Andorra and the semicircular apse decorated with pilasters and arches beautiful. As shown by the archaeological excavations, the original temple had four of the apse, but only one of them was restored during renovation work.

In addition, during excavations near the southern wall was found several skeletons and Foundation premises, it is assumed that it was the base of the bell tower. Despite the fact that discovered during the excavations fragments of wall paintings were so many, they still have not given when adding a complete picture of the image. Presumably these pictures belong to XII-XIII Art.

In 1983, the Rossel family, which owned and was a church during the reconstruction made an extension of the southern wing, turning it into a family crypt.
