Profitable building in Ruse - architectural monument, located right in the city center, near the monument of Liberty. Originally the building was under construction for delivery rooms and halls for hire for visitors corpse theater, built it in the period from 1898 to 1902. The architectural design of the master from Hungary belongs to Paul Branco.

It is known that during the construction of the building profitable active part in the work also took residents of Ruse. However, the construction of the building was never completed because the estimated costs of each month increased, and the bank refused to loan a large sum of money. Thus, the planned completion of the apartment building because of lack of money did not take place.

Title - "profit-building" - was taken by the city administration, based on the idea that the building will bring in revenue by hiring and rental of premises touring theater groups, and it was assumed that part of the rooms is equipped with a library, shops and even a casino.

The facade is in neo-classical style, decorated with all sorts of luxury features stucco sculptures. The upper part of the building is crowned with a small statue of a winged Mercury.
