The Clock Tower was built in 1741 in the center of Tatar Pazarzhdik (now Pazardzik) and served as the city clock. Unfortunately, almost no any information about the shape of the building. It is assumed that she had the form of a regular prism with hexagonal, octagonal or dodecagonal base. Construction stood on a pedestal in the form box. Watches are in a niche that is located at the top of the pyramid. The inscription on a commemorative plate on one of the walls of the tower reads: "Honest Ibrahim Aga Khairul gave as a gift this watch, which beat every hour and pleasing town", below, indicates the year when the clock was installed (by Turkish reckoning), "1154".

In 1924 the tower was destroyed, it survived only the strongest part of the structure - the base of the pedestal. Its walls, reaching a height of six meters, built of hewn stones. The bell from the tower until 1980 kept in the school named after George Bregovo, but then lost track of him.

The only known scholar Photo Clock Tower was made shortly before its destruction, in 1923, Professor Ivan Bataklievym. Preserved and painting by Stoyan Vasilev, where he captured the clock tower.

A few years ago, "Rotary Club - Pazardzhik" acted as the initiator of restoring buildings by architect Hristo Gerasimov. The project is intended to build up the clock tower in such a way as to get as close to its original form. During the construction of the wall of the building was enclosed metal capsule with a message to future generations the town of Pazardzhik and a brief history of the tower. In 2010, work was completed on May 21 the official opening of the restored monument of culture.

In the six-meter-preserved stone foundation we built a pyramid height of three meters, above which rises a tower in the shape of an octagonal prism. In the niche, where the tower is located at the original clock, sculpture placed patrons Pazardzhik - Saints Constantine and Helena. The statues made by the sculptor Stefan Lyutakovym. The ten tower with small windows ends hipped gabled roof. Almost under the roof on each of the four sides hang a Swiss watch. All the building reaches a height of 27 meters.
