Church of St. Anne is located in Ostrava, which is called the Glade nad Audrey. Funds for the construction of the temple collected all the world. To control the amount collected was created a special society, the responsibility of the members of which included a rigorous report on the money spent. About 40 thousand guilders donated Countess Carolina of Berolingena. 3 years later - in 1885 - the amount reached 95 thousand gold. That was more than enough to start building a new church. But fate would have it that only in 1891 began the selection of architects, respectively, and the work on the temple were postponed for almost a year.

When the wizard began to erect the facade, found a place for the new church was not chosen very well. Sandy soils are fragile and can not withstand the high building. To strengthen the structure built on a solid foundation, thick piles of wood.

The church was consecrated in the name of St. Anne in 1893. She had a high tower topped with a cross. The new temple has worked only a few days, when the imposing tower at the church collapsed. None of the congregation was not injured, but the temple is no longer looked so majestic, as sought by its creators, and the bell tower of the church was all a must.

Prince Blucher wanted to build next to the church bell tower of St. Anne's low, but the initiative is always punished, so the city council ordered him to invest in the construction of a huge 22-meter tower. Prince agreed and built the bell tower required, but denied access to the temple, as it announced a private property. Then the city decided to buy a tower, and paid for it 30 thousand gold pieces.

Since then, the church of St. Anne is open to the public. The interior of the church is rather unusual: it is decorated with multi-colored plastic crosses and elegant mosaics.
