National Park Souss Massa - is one of the natural and cultural attractions of the region Souss Massa Draa, located in the central part of Morocco.

National Park was founded in 1991. It is located between the cities of Agadir and Tinzit lagoons formed by two rivers - the Souss and Massa - at the confluence of the Atlantic Ocean. It is because of these rivers and the park got its present name. The total area of ​​the national park is more than 300 sq.km.

The varied natural landscape of the area, where there are mountains, sand and farmland, provides an excellent opportunity for the various representatives of fauna habitat. The main value of the national park lies in the fact that its territory inhabited by the last population of bald ibis, which, unfortunately, is no longer on the ground. In addition, it is home to such rare birds as the black-Chagry, redstart, bustards, all kinds of larks and other birds, many of whom have come here from other edges of the winter. In total, the National Park Souss-Massa, there are over 200 species of birds.

In addition, the park live rare animals, such as antelope, Eurasian wild boars, gazelles, Egyptian mongooses, ostriches and various species of butterflies and reptiles. For ostriches in the park have been set up reservations.
