Memorial dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of the 131st Motorized Rifle Brigade, located in Maikop, at the entrance from the village Kamennomostsky. The memorial was installed on the southern outskirts of the city in honor of the soldiers who died heroically during the storming of Grozny, which occurred in January 1995

While Maikop 131st Motorized Rifle Brigade captured Grozny railway station, but then during the day was brutally torn apart and shot weapons from militias. In Maikop brigade killed almost all the officers and soldiers of management, as well as its commander - Colonel I. Savin. Of the twenty-six tanks that entered the city of Grozny, only six were not burned. Of one hundred and twenty infantry fighting vehicles were evacuated from Grozny only eighteen. In addition, as a result of fights were completely destroyed six anti-aircraft complexes "Tunguska".

The memorial complex of the soldiers of the 131st Motorized Rifle Brigade, killed in local conflicts, enters the temple of St. George, shot up into the sky two pylons, capped by the emblem of Russia. On the cold granite monument inscribed with the names of all the rank and file officers, heroes of Russia, as well as award-winning not fallen soldiers. On a stone pedestal, you can see two combat vehicles that participated in the storming of Grozny in January 1995
