Vintage Park Luis de Camoes with caves on the type of Suzhou gardens perfectly preserved to our time and is a popular tourist attraction in Macau. The name of the park, unusual for China, appeared in honor of the Portuguese famous poet, not once frequented this town. The grotto is a sculptural monument to Luis de Camoes.

First, the park belonged to a wealthy Portuguese merchant, a great lover of birds, which is placed in the park of the original construction, like bird nests. Later, in the 13th century, the park moved to the ownership of some of the British company, and owned by the city authorities of Macau, he was only 100 years later.

The resulting park status will allow the state to give it a name of the poet, who lived here for a long time. The favorite place of the poet were just caves. The local population has long used the park for chess battles, leisurely strolls and other favorite activities, which have a centuries-old trees, benches and fountains, and amazing Chinese pavilions. Also according to tradition here people come to set free special decorative birds.

In the middle of the park, a sculpture "Embrace", a symbolic name which reflects the unity of the Chinese and Portuguese cultures.
