Crown Tribunal - the highest court in matters of land legislation, which is located in the Old Town in a building of the Old Town Hall. This building was built on the site of an old wooden town hall in the Gothic style, burned down in 1389. Initially, the new building served as a municipality, and since 1578 it is located in the Crown Tribunal.

In the first half of the sixteenth century after a terrible fire that engulfed Lublin, the building was rebuilt in the Renaissance style. Around the Crown Tribunal has numerous shops where merchants sell their products. The first hearing was held here in 1579. The main face of the Crown Tribunal was appointed by Marshal - Monsignor, which led to a process where the accused were members of the clergy.

In the 80 years of the seventeenth century courtroom it was again rebuilt in Baroque style, like many other buildings in Lublin at that time. One of the most significant reconstructions were made in the years 1781-1787 by the architect Domenico Merlini - court master Stanislaw August Poniatowski. The building received a classic appearance and increased almost twice. The front facade of the building was decorated with pilasters. The main relief is situated on the top of the facade. The coat of arms is divided into two parts, symbolizing Poland and Lithuania. Above the coat of arms of Polish kings crown is topped by a cross. On both sides are depicted women. One of them is holding a sword, and the other scale - a symbol of justice. In 1977, the relief was renovated. The interior has remained virtually unchanged.

Currently, the Tribunal is of the Crown Wedding Palace. There are also cultural events, live music nights are arranged.
