Krasnodar Museum of bodybuilding "Samson" is the only museum of such type in Russia. It is located on the street Red, one of the city's oldest cellars. The museum exposition consists of homemade weights, bars, simulators, which worked Krasnodar athletes at a time when bodybuilding was prohibited sport. Bodybuilding is a taboo sport in the Soviet Union. The one who engaged in them, criminally punished. The creation of this unusual museum began in 1994. Almost all repair work on its creation was carried out by the participants of the organization bodybuilding. The need for the museum arose when the federation of bodybuilding gathered a large number of prizes and awards. The grand opening of the museum "Samson" was held in 1999. Since that time, the exposure is regularly updated with new information about bodybuilding and photos.
